  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have smoked several now and have enjoyed each one. I would expect a lower side of full in terms of body. As for flavor, i have several flavor changes throughout mine and am not very good at picking out individual tastes. All I know is that i thought it was complex in terms of taste, it burned great, beautiful construction. I hope you enjoy.

Those rounds of blind tasting is what originally turned me on to the BOTL site.

I think it might be time for another round? There are lots of new cigars that could use some blind reviews...

I smoke them now and then, not the most complex cigar out there, but a good solid smoke. The one's I've had were all from the original release and didn't have any construction issues as some of the reviews noted. I've recently gotten some of the belicoso's, but haven't lit one yet.

I've been considering setting up a review contest for bargain cigars, such as Famous Nicaraguan 3000, CFO #7, Pepin Benchmade or Fumadores, Flor de Oliva, etc. All of the cigars would be popular sticks that retail for under $5 (sometimes much less).
