Anyone ever have one? They come in a light wrapper and a dark wrapper, Cuban Pinar del Rio seed and a Connecticut shade wrapper. I picked up a sixer when I was just over there. Of course, I found out too late that the wine shop I bought them at gouged me. The actual cigar company charges $65 for a 6, while I paid an even $100 for the damn 6. Ouch. Well, safe to say they'll never get my business again. Anywho, here's the website for the Kauai Cigar though. http://www.kauaicigar.com/index.html

Overall I'll say they aren't bad looking cigars, but I have a few questions about them. The website claims they're handmade, but the label on them says hand rolled. That would means the tobacco is bunched by machine, right?

Anyways, I'm going to let them sit for a while before I try one, but I was curious if anyone else has had one?

Ah, I did find out from talking the cigar wholesaler/manufacturer who knows that the cigars when sold in Hawaii are subject to a 40% tobacco tax on the first seller, hence the markup cause I purchased in HI. Learned my lesson. No wonder there aren't any good cigar shops around the island!

40 per cent would be a dream -- not a great dream but a dream nonetheless.
It's like 200 per cent up here when all is said and done.
Which is, of course, why I buy my smokes in Texas, PA and elsewhere.
