Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I put a spreadsheet together too. I started smoking cigars again after a 5 year haitus so I have been buying samplers and five packs on auction sites. I found it difficult to remember which ones I liked the best after a few months. There are so many affordable good cigars available and I have a couple hundred right now. When I did it, I used a spreadsheet... toss it up on the cloud, and you can update it from anywhere via your phone/tablet.
How is Cigar Geek going? I'm using Cigar Boss right now, but I also don't like that previous smokes aren't saved. Any reviews? So first I will check out the Cigar Geek app to see if it meets my needs and, if not, a Google Doc it will be.
Awesome app. That's the one I use.We have Cigar Boss at Emerson's. You can add notes to any cigar using the app.
Look forward to the reviewSo after trying Cigar Boss, Cigar Geek, and a homegrown Google doc (I made a form for easy entry) I kept going back to Cigar Boss.
I'll write up why either tonight or tomorrow as each had benefits and weaknesses.
