I've had three KFC's---and at least for me they were great. I wonder if you let them set in the humidor for a bit if they would just get even better.

I think they are pretty great sticks but you have to be in the mood for them. However the Gran Habano American Puro which has the same kfc I found to be much much better.

Coming from the pipe world, where Dark-fired KY is one of my favorite tobaccos, I really want to try this cigar. In fact Gawith-Hoggarth Dark Flake is made with dark-fired Mulawi tobacco. It's much much stronger than the US version, but excellent.

I have some AJ Fernandez Spectres and some George A Rico American Puros resting in my humi now. When I get to them I will compare and contrast them with the KFC, but so far the Leccia Black is my favorite fire cured stick even if it slightly different in composition from these other three.

Some reviews I've seen describe the taste to that of bbq ribs. I had another today paired with some Jameson's and I'll be darned if that bbq flavor came out..to me..might not to others. Definitely will put more in the humidor.

Im hearing these are all short filler smokes. Smelled one today and it turned me off. Although someone was smoking a Leccia Black at the HERF and I am curious.

Just keep them in a separate humidor from your other sticks or your box will start to stink like the KFC. I made a small tupperdor for all my fire cured sticks.
