Know of a Good Photo Resizing Program?

I'm looking for a program that's really basic and that will resize a large number of photos at once..

Can anybody reccomend something?

Good luck, I wish I could help. I just use Microsoft Paint the times I need a picture resized.

I like using Google's Picasa2 but I don't know about resizing in volume. Never tried that one before.

I'm using Windows. I have picassa, don't know howw to scale down say, a folder of pictures though.

Photoshop can do it, but I took it off because it's a fairly large program, and I didn't use it that much.

On Linux, I use gphoto2. I drop all the files into one directory, run one command, and it spits out images resized to whatever specs I need.

I think it only runs on Linux and BSD, though.

You can download the Microsoft Image Resizer utility from their website. It's a power toy so it will allow you select a ton of pics at once (by cntrl+click) then right click one and choose resize pictures. The sizes it will allow are more for space rather than typical frame sizes (ie 640x480,800x600 instead of 5x7, 8x10)
