Construction – a nicely constructed cigar, with a light brown wrapper.
Pre-light – draw seemed a little tight, but not too bad. Hints of wood and leather.
1/3 – Ample smoke with a slightly wavy burn. Toasted almonds and leather. Tasty!
2/3 – Burn got a little worse here and draw tightened up. Had to relight once. Leather and cedar.
3/3 – Took a turn for the worse. Draw tightened more and went out on me twice. Pitched it.
I really enjoyed the first third and certainly expected to have a good overall experience with this. This was the first time I’d ever smoked one of these. I think I have another one somewhere, so I’ll revisit and just hope that this was a fluke because I’ve pretty much only heard good things about this stick.
