I've gone through about 10 Las Calaveras in the three different sizes with just minor touch ups but no tunneling. Other than making sure you are lighting correctly, there is not much that can be unfortunately done to prevent this. Hopefully, just an isolated construction issue ruining a phenomenal stick.

Yeah I lit it up just as I have every other stick and it lit up fine. Just a fluke I guess. Bound to get one eventually. On to the next one!

Brief update:

I've smoked a few more of these and they have gotten progressively better. The flavors are much more distinct and refined than at first. The sour note I was getting appears to be entirely gone now as well. Fire em up after a few weeks and I think you'll be pleased. Very complex and tasty smoke.

Nice reviews guys. I'm intrigued by this cigar and will need to search one out and give it a shot.
