So I made some Daeji-Bulgolgi (aka spicy korean pork) last night for the first time. 'Twas quite good.
Recipe-
1 pork butt ~1.8lbs (freeze it till slightly frozen and slice THIN)
3 Tbsp - Soy sauce
3 Tbsp - Mirin sweet cooking wine
4-5 cloves of garlic - minced
1 tsp - honey
2 tsp - brown sugar
5 Tbp - Gochujang (korean pepper paste, I use 'level 3' hotness)
1 large white onion cut into medium slices
4-5 green onions cut into large pieces
Mix ingredients for sauce and pour over onions and pork - let rest for 3-12 hours.
Fry it up in a pan in a little vegetable oil until desired doneness. Serve with Jasmine rice and brocoli (or veggie of choice)
*edit* note sure why it resized my pics to look stupid.
