No fluff just the stuff

Wrapper/Binder/Filler - '13 Extension de la Racine blend with a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper
Vitola - 5 x 52 Robusto
Smoke Time - 1 hour 35 mins
Pairing - Water
Price - $9

Pre Light - Cedar, earthy

Cold Draw - Oak

Appearance - Dark brown, oily, noticeable seams and pretty veiny, smooth with little to no tooth, nice closed foot.

Light - Blast of pepper, sweet spice, malt sweetness, oak

1st Third - The pepper mellows but is still upfront as well as salted caramel, sweet spice, honey, floral, toast, oak. Theres so many subtleties to the profile its overwhelming trying to describe it all. Retrohale is peppery and woody with a little citrus. Mouthfeel is silky. Full bodied, just over medium strength.

2nd Third - The earthiness tones down and the profile gets more meaty and savory supported by a nice creamy mocha note. Nice twang. Retrohale is mostly pepper with a mild note of what reminds me of the smell of an old desk(not in a bad way). Full bodied, strength still just past medium.

Final Third - The earthy woody character kicks back up with some more black pepper and sweet spice. The profile otherwise stays the same. Retrohale really smoothes out and lets the whole profile through. Full bodied, medium full strength.

Construction - Effortless draw, great smoke production, even burn, sturdy ash.

Overall - Very smooth, great mouthfeel, extremely complex overload of flavor. Probably the best cigar I've smoked so far this year.

Thanks fellas. Don't hold off on these too long if you want to try them. The release was pretty limited IIRC.
