  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

latkia/english blends aren't that great.

well, one thing I noticed as a novice pipe smoker is that with english blends, it's not very hard to get the flavor from the smoke.

The latakia has a very prominent taste that comes through even without proper smoking techniques, so it's a very easy blend to enjoy.

Unlike VAs and aromatics where one needs to struggle at first to get all of the sweetness and nuances, latakia starts to deliver right off the bat, and as one develops one's smoking techinuqe, the already pleasant taste gets more and more pleasanter.
