These Indo wrapper leaves are large. Compare this stack to the size of my tabla. Thin and delicate, too. They come already spread out flat, instead of crunkled up. They would have been used at the factory for wrapper, except for the smirchy color that they came from Indonesia with. That's why FX Smith sold me these cheap. I'm using them for binders. Because they are so delicate, I de-stem them, then fold each half leaf lengthwise three times, so that the veins criss-cross for strength. They must have been sticky with resin when they were bundled in hands, cause each leaf is glued to the next. Lotsa care goes into peeling them apart. No notion which island they grew on.

Large flat leaves are a treat to work with.

Let's see some leaf pics.

This, on the other hand, is your typically small T-13 viso:

This leaf makes you yearn for they day someone invents smellavision. The aroma of this stuff is flat outstanding. The best part of this leaf is when you open Don's bag to pull a handful out. Charges you right up. Gives you a big old snootful.

It's why we roll.

Gosh I really like this Ecuadorian viso wrapper! Just went to post to this leaf porn thread and found I had already put this leaf up before!

Here it is again, cause you can't get enough leaf porn...

Now, here's what I mean by real leaf pron:

That's the CT Shade wrap that I found all prepped and stored in wads in the basement of FX Smith's Sons. That "knoife", as Dundee would say, is 8 1/2" open. You're talking 22" long and 8 1/2" wide for a deveined half leaf. Diaphonous and delicate. Speaking of delicate, here's a Delicado I wrapped with it today:

It's a shame how 2/3 of the leaf gets wasted. The machinery that rolls their gars could have cut four wraps out of this half leaf easily.

Hey, that super shiny Ec viso that Jim D shows above is som,e smellicious looking leaf pron, innit?

I wish someone would get busy and invent the smellavision that we have all been anxious to try out ever since we first smelt girls. Then we could have some aromatic leaf pron. Yummers.

Nice leaf/noife photo. That's pretty big for an FX CT leaf. Bigger than any in my wads. But yeah like you said, we ain't wrapping 8x80s.

I am a bird lover. Birds are living jewels, the way that they are made. Two ounce creatures with sixteen pounds of smart and sixty pounds of pure intrepid courage. Anyone who has kept a bird knows how they love to flit past your ears, from time to time, as tho bragging see what they can do that you can't... "Come on up! The air is fine!"

Anyhoo, so I laid out this 20" half-leaf of FX Smith CT shade in preparation for wrapping a perfecto delicado:

just as Robin the budgie came flitting round my head, so that the mere wind of her tiny wings folded the leaf over, far as the chaveta would allow:

I mean, I am flabbergasted how a leaf so delicate can even hold itself up on the stem. 20" long and that light even dampened.
Amazing.
