Learning big lessons lately.....

........as my palate grows and I'm learning what flavors i like and such.......I'm also learning that temperature of the burn is a massive part of extracting the flavors out of a cigar. New things are popping up from a flavor perspective all the time now. Has anyone else had that progression in their learning along the way?

If you mean how fast you smoke when you say temperature of the burn I think we can all agree. If your cigars are burning hot and fast when you are smoking slow the cigars are probably very dry and that will greatly affect flavor.

Nothing wrong with Corojo I think of them as spicy Connies!

Once you get that nailed down there is always humidity to play around with. Over time I went from 69% to 67%. Then I went to a shop that had their humidor set to 65% and it changed the game for me. I realized my previous experiments with 65% had failed because I didn't give them enough time to acclimate.

If you like Corojo try the Liga Privada H99 toro at 65%.
