  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Here is my 3 finger Pheasant leather cigar case that was given to me as a wedding gift from my second wife (1999). She is long gone and all but forgotten but the case is still here and will be here long after I am gone. Very well made. Here is a link to some of the ones available these days. http://www.citycigarcompany.com/htdocs/pheasantcigarcases.htm

Warped one for me.
That is very nice. The finish is fantastic. Do you feel that you got your $$ worth on the leather or was a noticeable % of the cost tied to the Warped branding?

(I'm on the site, the brown leather two finger is very tempting)

Edit: as I browse around more and more on this case it's becoming apparent this is a quality case. Thanks for the recommend wicket.

I've been eyeballing that brown "tortoise" two finger as well. Can't bring myself to spend the price of a box of cigars for it yet, but it's beautiful, that's for sure.

It's a chunk of change that's for sure. And unfortunately it would be used on the rare occasion that I'll lounge at the.Davidoff BM.

SeparateIy, I've just spent 1/2 hour rearranging my wineador to accommodate boxes enroute. That means big dollars have left the coop and big dollars may be needed for wineador #2. A scary proposition indeed.

But, I might buy it anyway!

What can I cut back on...hmmm...Whiskey? Nahh...Cigars? Nahhh.....The new winter coat I've needed for about 5yrs now? ABSOLUTELY.

Don't think the warped branding added that much to the price. It's a very nice leather and the finish is fantastic. The only drawback is the blue shows scratches so I'm afraid to just carry around every day.
