Leather Cigar Case

I love the look of the Peter James cases, but I don't think I could trust a soft goods case for traveling.

I've asked Xikars reps to suggest putting an accessory slot or something in the lid of a Herfador. I hope they take me up on the idea.

Really, it's a bit odd they don't offer something for that. Even a pouch to toss your lighter and cutter.

I've always wondered why those type of cased don't have a two part lid so that the upper portion of the lid is storage for cutters and lighters. That'd be far more useful than the silly foam humidifier they stick in there.

In my 15-Count herf-a-dor I put my accessories on the uppermost layer of foam. It turns it into a 10-count, but It's still easier to keep track of my shiny toys.

Don't think the warped branding added that much to the price. It's a very nice leather and the finish is fantastic. The only drawback is the blue shows scratches so I'm afraid to just carry around every day.

The peter james case is nice but using google to convert from CAD to USD... With shipping the case will cost you around $225

Here's mine from Legendary Saxon. Scott does great work. I carry this with me everyday to work and after several months, I can't see it ever wearing out. Even the leather to tie it up should last years.

Which leather did you choose? Oil tanned or pull up?

Here is my 3 finger Pheasant leather cigar case that was given to me as a wedding gift from my second wife (1999). She is long gone and all but forgotten but the case is still here and will be here long after I am gone. Very well made.
