FYI. The Cohiba Marca has never included a Pyramid/Torpedo in its Linea Classica or Siglo lines. Pyramids have only been produced for special occasion releases: Dinner of the Century, Millennium Colleccion, Edicion Limitadas (01 & 06), Seleccion Reservas and possibly an anniversary release (35th??)

I'm pretty new to this but I looked at a lot of info on this subject when I was researching a friends cubans that the got as a tip as a caddy(they were real). As people have said, these are fakes. First thing to look at is the band. There is way too much extra at the bottom, under the "habana, cuba" part. Furthermore, most recent cuban cohiba's I've seen have had the "Cohiba" part slightly raised with a goldish metallic color, just like the real band posted by one of the previous posters.

You can not tell if they are fake by the bands....I can get thousands of bands that are the same as legit bands. The only way to determine if a cuban cigar is a real cuban factory cigar is to be sure of and know the source period!!!!!!!!

You can not tell if they are fake by the bands....

Maybe you cannot tell if they are authentic by the band, but a poorly copied product is a pretty good indicator of a fake. That and a glass-topped box. :wink:
