It was the Summer of 2009, if I recall, and it was hot. But even more, we were deep in the heart of "The Great Newbie Bombing Campaign" of '09. Times were crazy - bombs were everywhere, no one was safe. Casualties were high. Morale was... actually, morale was pretty damn high too!
I was coming home one day, after a long day of work, tired of my job, tired of my boss, pissed off and preoccupied. I didn't even notice the smoking hole where our street's mailbox once stood. Some poor bastard of a mailman didn't even know what hit him.
I came inside, and looked at the table in the hallway, when - BOOM!
Now, son, very few pictures of that day remain, and I have a couple in my possession. The blast was so powerful it wrecked film and broke cameras:

Culprit: An elusive bomber called "N.Olson"

Culprit: The Infamous Mass-Bomber known as "Shuckins"
Our Fearless Leader has declared this as "an unmitigated and unmatched act of welcoming, brotherhood, and generosity. Such acts cannot go unreciprocated, and though our resources and abilities to wage war are not yet at their peak, a day of reckoning will come!"
And that sonny boy, was my first bombing. Now run along and fetch me a cigar!
