  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just finished a LFD Salamone. took about 1 1/2 hour. Lots of flavor but oooooooooo what a buzz. Lots of coffe, chocolate and spice at the end.

This is an outstanding cigar. It does take a few minutes to smoke though.

Definitely a full bodied smoke...be ready. The blend really works for me.

But then again, I've been on a LFD kick for about 6 months now.

I had my first one tonight too! What a great stick though I didn't eat dinner (till 11pm), so my head was spinnin too - I had to let it go out at about 3 inches and after almost two hours - I finished another inch of it later before putting it out for good.

Damn fine smoke. I have one more that I'll save for a special day (and after a nice full meal!).

U got that right AJ. Must have a full meal on the tummy to really enjoy this stick.
The flavors are great.

I loved this cigar. My only complaint was that the Habano wrapper burned unevenly. I can't wait for these with some age.

If you liked this cigar, try the Habano Corona LE which features the same wrapper with the LG Diez 08 blend for filler and the Habano Doble Corona which again uses the same wrapper with the Small Batch 1 filler!!

looks like a great smoke, but maybe a bit too powerful... I wonder if these mellow out a bit with some age on em (enough to not kill someone with the power)

The price scares me off more than anything.

I saw aobut 8 of these at my local shop, and they were $23 each and that was with the purchase of $25 worth of other LFD products, and you could only buy one. Is the bang / hype ratio all it's cracked up to be ?? :dunno:

I can sure understand what you are saying. The cost is high for this stick. It is not one that I would smoke that often but it is a great stick. I don't know about the hype. I tried one and will try another sometime in the future when I can afford it.
Which is the LFD thats has a cameroon wrapper? Thats one I haven't tried as yet.
