  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have been trying a ton of cigars over the last year and making a very concerted effort to be objective in my reviews. But I am not sure I can be very objective in this review, because I fell head over heels in love with this cigar. I guess you could say it was love at first puff :)

I cannot remember the last time that I was this excited about a cigar. The Liga Privada T52 Flyin' Pig is an extremely flavorful, oversized perfecto that produces great volumes of smoke (which I love) and satisfies all the way to the last puff. I was blown away - from the beautiful dark oily wrapper to the perfect draw and even burn. The flavor was complex with an intoxicating mixture of spice, coffee, chocolate and leathery core. This cigar is intense, but not over-powering. You really feel like you are getting a full bodied taste without an overwhelming punch. Very smooth, tasty smoke that left me with visions of pigs flying in my head :)

The best possible endorsement that I can give any cigar is to immediately purchase a box for my own personal rotation - and I purchased 2 boxes!! This was the best cigar I have smoked in the last year, so I would highly recommend that you run out to buy these while supplies are still available.

I have always said that I was pork's biggest fan, but I never thought I would be saying that when reviewing a cigar. I guess there is a first for everything.

I assuming if he got 2 boxes, it was the T52.

That said, maybe this newb has some resources. :)

Nice review. It's always nice to see someone smoke a "game-changer."

I recently posted a review of the T52 Robusto....After twenty+ years of smoking, I think I may have found THE best.
These things are just awesome.

The T52 is my #1 cigar too, Clint. Though there are a couple better ones on the planet, for the money and availability, the T52 wins.

Have YOU tried the T52 Flying Pig yet? You MUST, and asap (so you have a chance to stock up, lol). IMVHO, the T52 improves a lot with age, and the FP tastes like the aged ones do (in the last 1/2 of the piggie, at least) already ... that is to say, amazing!

Sorry for the confusion, but this was the T52 Flyin' Pig, not the No. 9.

I also have to agree with you that the T52 is one of the absolute best cigars out there.

I just picked up half a dozen boxes. Can't wait until they are done resting. I have had the 9 before but not the 52 pig. Thanks for the review.

Great review, brother! I just got my first piggy (and of the T52 variety) in a lotto payout/bday bomb! I'm looking forward to giving it a smoke!

Thanks for sharing your review!!

Thanks for the review! Still haven't tried a piggie myself. Definitely on my list of ones to find.

T52 toros are probably my favorite NC cigar. I've got 3 T52 piggies resting, this review is good incentive to light one up. Thanks for the review!
