  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Most reviews I have read, especially well-respected ones like Brook's lists it as a Connecticut wrapper, so....
I just looked over Brooks's reviews on the T52, and I can't find anywhere that he states "Connecticut Broadleaf" for the T52. Could you please find the passage on his site where he made the broadleaf claim? Thanks.

These are the only T52 reviews I can find on his site:
http://thesmokingstogie.squarespace...rivada-t-52-flying-pig-prerelease-review.html
http://thesmokingstogie.squarespace...ga-privada-t52-double-corona-pre-release.html
http://thesmokingstogie.squarespace...hat-is-with-all-the-cigar-names-starting.html

As a sidenote, the last one erroneously lists Dominican tobacco as a filler for the T52 - this was a commonly repeated misinformation due to, I believe it was a bad data sheet that went out in the early days. Anyway, there is no Dominican tobacco in the T52.
Liga Privada T-52- What is with all the cigar names starting with "T"?

Another of the new releases by the reinvented Drew Estates, the Liga Privada T-52 has quite a bit going for it...it is a multi-country blend of tobaccos, the core of which is a Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan filler and the Brazilian Mata Fina binder is grown by Jose Fuego.

WELL..... Thanks for the review.

Clint....I think you should just tell Thunder.Gerbil that he is right...lol.... I don't know who is right on this one, but that would be the easiest way to settle this.

Nice review! I have one chilling in my humidor as we speak. It was given to me by the owner of a local B&M, and I'm just waiting for the weather to improve out here so I can enjoy it. Now I'm even more psyched to light this piggy up.

I think he needs to sip on some decaf!

It's a Connecticut wrapper, but not a broadleaf....My bad.

Still an awesome cigar, despite the distraction :)
