I just looked over Brooks's reviews on the T52, and I can't find anywhere that he states "Connecticut Broadleaf" for the T52. Could you please find the passage on his site where he made the broadleaf claim? Thanks. Most reviews I have read, especially well-respected ones like Brook's lists it as a Connecticut wrapper, so....
These are the only T52 reviews I can find on his site:

As a sidenote, the last one erroneously lists Dominican tobacco as a filler for the T52 - this was a commonly repeated misinformation due to, I believe it was a bad data sheet that went out in the early days. Anyway, there is no Dominican tobacco in the T52.
Liga Privada T-52- What is with all the cigar names starting with "T"?
Another of the new releases by the reinvented Drew Estates, the Liga Privada T-52 has quite a bit going for it...it is a multi-country blend of tobaccos, the core of which is a Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan filler and the Brazilian Mata Fina binder is grown by Jose Fuego.
