Well gents, I figured that I'd get my feet wet here with this review stuff. This will be the first review I have ever done in all both of my years smoking :nodlaugh: (so take it with a pound of salt and a good rum if you like). I realize I've picked a winner among the brothers so I'll try my best to do it justice. Here goes:

Liga Privada Undercrown Robusto-

Vitola- 5x54

Wrapper- San Andres Negro
Binder- Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut and Cured Sun Grown Habano
Filler- Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan Habano

Construction: Nice dark brown and reddish brown wrapper, medium firmness, consistent feel throughout the length of the stick, minor veins, overall beautiful cigar

Pre-Light Aroma: Rich and earthy

Pre-Light Draw: Coffee and chocolate notes, perfect resistance

Initial Puffs (After toasting and lighting): Black licorice, coffee, rich nutty creaminess with some pepper on the retrohale, but no bitterness whatsoever, awesome!

1st 3rd: Woody, toasty, rich dry taste that absolutely floods the palette

2nd 3rd: More nuttiness with dark chocolate and a smooth, minty sweetness on the finish

Final 3rd: Changes up nicely to reveal some deep cedar notes. Overarching toasty flavors are still present with coffee on the finish. Not as dry as the first two thirds, which I really like. Tars have built up towards the end (as expected) but flavor still shines through to the nub with the help of a few intermittent purges

Burn Time: 2 hours

Burn: Slight touch ups needed, but this one was straight outta the B&M and seemed to only struggle on one side (the top side, as it were in the B&M humi), nothing problematic or unexpected

Ash: Held on for the entire first third, then dropped in periodically shorter lengths throughout the rest of the smoke

Smoke: Medium to A Lot

Strength: Medium to Full

Flavor: Full

Overall: I enjoyed the Undercrown immensely and would be very happy to smoke it again. It is a cigar that I would recommend wholeheartedly to lovers of La Duena and Padron maduros. It was very well constructed and delivered a plethora of rich flavors. For myself though, it would likely be a definite 5-pack as I tend to reserve my very limited "box budget" for sticks with a little more spice and crisp, woody taste (Don Pepin, for example) as opposed to the smooth, menthol sweetness that dominates this cigar*. That said, if you have the money and the space in your humi--go for a box, cause these things are legit. The one thing that I can say stood out about this cigar is the amazing finish. My mouth is STILL coated with the delicious flavors of this stick after nearly 5 hours! A delicious and satisfying smoke, indeed. Light it up!

*mainly the reason for this is because my stash is not so large as many of the fine veteran BOTL's around here. So, usually my box purchases are with the intent-to-age. I like the way the Don-Pepin-esque sticks smoke after a good long rest in the humi, so a five pack, for me, of a stick like the Undercrown means that I like it a lot and definitely plan to smoke more

For a first review your did a great job, bro!!

I also love the Undercrown. The Corona Viva has overtaken the Robusto as my favorite, though I've had all the vitolas and they're all good cigars.

I love this stick!! I have been putting a real hurting on a box I bought a while back...they are smoking so good! I like the Corona Viva vitola slightly more because it offers everything the Robusto does with a little more stick. This vitola is great as well though. Nice review also!
