I'm also looking for a torch in the same price range. I had one a few years back but dropped it, and that was the end. I've been using matches, but figured I'd pick up a torch for when I'm on the go and an easier method. Sounds like the Ronson is the way to go?

I have some butane left over, however it was probably $4, most likely low quality. What type of fuel should I buy for a torch?

Picked one up at CVS today. The first one I visited were out of them so I picked up the cheaper ones, thinking they were torch, but turns out it's just a soft light. Next one I went to had one left so I bought that. I'll keep the butane soft lights for backup.
