  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking for another deal...

A few months back, C.I. ran a deal on Victor Sinclair Vintage Selects. I took a chance and bought a box, liked em as an everyday smoke, so I bought 5 more boxes (plus 20 assorted sampler with each box purchase). Now I'm starting to see the bottom of the humidor and I am really tempted to buy some more.

Looking back, I only ran across 2 poss. 3 sticks that were no good out of 200 plus. And at $2 something a stick, that is pretty good odds.

Is there another budget cigar that anyone could recommend before I order more of these?

I’ve got some Rocky Patels, and some La Aroma De Cubas holding for the special occasions…just looking for a solid, daily smoke.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

AF Short Story, Gispert, Partagas Black Label.
Also if you dare, you can troll cigarbid.com to look for deals. However you may just go broke in the process after you have bought 15 boxes........

Also Famous Nicaraguan, La Vieja,Sancho Panza.

JMatkins,
Thanks for the reply, but A.F. Short Stories (while yummy), are not my idea of a "budget" cigar. Though it is a great cigar to pack on a fishing trip.

Thanks for the cigarbid.com recomendation...I've never hear of that site. Gonna check out the other cigars you mentioned.

Am I the only poor person on here? :)

Onyx Reserve Mini Belicosos and Indian Tabac Super Fuerte maduros. And Maria Mancini Magic Mountain maduros.
The Onyx Mini Belis are my favorite budget smoke.

And good luck with cigarbid!!! It's addicting.

the sponsors of the BOTL you can find them on the forum page. Some of us are partial to the companies that help keep the BOTL running. I will look there before looking elsewhere. Famous tends to be realy competative day to day.

Right on gentleman...thanks for the solid recommendations. I will check out the sponsors.

I was always a little leery of the Indian Tobac...now I plan to give em a try...as well as the others that got listed here.

Thanks

Keep em coming.

All I can say is go to a cigar store and look for cigars under $5 pick out a few and see what you like. Then if you find them for $ or less in a store you should find them cheapper online. The key is keep trying new cigars.

I only smoke the Indian Tabac super fuerte maduros. Everything else of theirs I am not a big fan of. And try the onyx reserve mini belicosos, I promise you'll love them!
