    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking for another deal...

Those, or Sancho Panza natural or Extra Fuertes, just can't go wrong with this stuff.

I'm definitely not a fan of Maria Mancini :barf:

Nor have I had any good experiences with Indian Tabac, yet love all the other Rocky stuff though, which is sorta strange. :scratchhe

Thanks guys. I plan to head out to my smoke shop Monday armed with the Microsoft Excel sheet I just compiled of all your recommendations.

Some are cigars I've never even considered before.

As for the Sancho Panza...a good friend of mine smuggled in a box from Cuba, and after smoking 2, I was underwhelmed. I'll be curious to see what the Honduran line brings to the table.

And I'm very excited to smoke one of the onyx reserve mini belicosos. Never tried Onyx before.

I am going to try at least 1 of every cigar recommended.

Cupido ($50 for 25)
JR Ultimate Rothschild ($65 for 25)
Oliva Serie G ($65 for 25)
Perdomo Lot 23 ($65 for 25)
Punch Rare Corojo ($116 for 50)
Rocky Patel factory selects ($47 for 20)

Which Rocky Patel do you have stashed alongside the La Aroma de Cuba's? - It might help better define your preferred tastes.

I think the IT Super Fuerte was a superb recommendation. Try both the maduro and the natural. I generally prefer the maduro, but I think the natural might be a 'little' more like your La Aroma's. I wasn't highly impressed with either straight off the truck, but when I revisited after a couple of months in the cooler, I was impressed. I also highly endorse the Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro suggestion.

Not quite budget smokes, but often reasonable through cigarbid, I recommend Fonseca Habana Seleccion, Sol Cubano Maduro, 5 Vegas Series A, Maxx, and Oliveros 1927.

Be very, very careful about treading into the cigarbid waters! There is no lifeguard on duty. My wife comes to drag me out occassionally, but it is dangerous! You've been warned.

Dave- I have the Rocky Patel vintage 1990 and 92's. And for the record, I have been smoking La Aromas for approx 3+ years now...long before the hype.
My cigar guy started making fun of me for not wanting to try anything else.

So I messed around with all the Rocky's...edge, sungrown, R4,...I liked the 92's the best.

Thanks for ALL the solid first hand recommendations. My list is growing.

And as far as cigarbid warning goes...I got rid of the wife 5 years ago.

On the milder side, the Indian Tabac Limited Reserve is an immensely underrated bundle. Cedar wrapped with the finest shade wrapper. I (these days) look at CBid solely to bid on these (or RP Connecticut or AMS) and when I can get the price I want, I add to my supply. I have four bundles right now, so you could probably get some now without bidding against me, if you act fast. I just keep smokin 'em!

I guess I am not as tech. savvy as I thought at posting pictures on the web.

I also have them uploaded to photobucket.com and can get the URL if anyone wants to give me advice on the topic.

As for the myspace thing, my little cousin, currently in her 3rd year of college pretty much forced me into making a page, due to her not using regular e mail, only the myspace e mail. I felt kind of weird being a 35 year old male having a myspace page...you know, the "old guy at the club" complex, but I will say this about the site: It’s put me in touch with a lot of people I went to high school with. They can search via the school you graduated, your home town, or your current home town. Sometimes its a good thing, like when my high school sweetheart looked me up, not so much when people contact me looking for a couch to crash on in Key West.

Thanks to all the Brothers for the recommendations. I plan to try everyone of them.
