Looking for employment

Guys,

After 18 years with the same school district as the technology director responsible for network and data I have been downsized. I'm reaching out to anyone that might know of a business in the central Michigan area that needs someone to manage a network, work with data or anything else in that realm.

There isn't much I can't learn how to do if I don't already know it, and I have felt a strong desire to get back into the automotive field in recent months. Whether that is in warehousing, production or IT I don't know but now is my time to start looking again. I have experience in auto parts both with a dealership and private-owned stores. I know the money isn't great in either of those situations but I will consider many types of work as I've been considering a change in careers for a while now.

Sorry to hear. I too once found myself let go from a 6 year job. Matters were made worse by having a 5 month old at home. I tried hard, put out lots of resumes and found a even better job.

I hope your unemployment is short lived.

You'll be in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear bro, been there done that (more than once)

My best advice is to treat the job search as a job, minimum 9-5 every day.

You have a blog or place were you can showcase your skills? If not get one an start posting.

If you have any experience in infosec PM me. I see postings on some private email lists I'm on 2-3 times a week both in private and other sectors
