  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking for Fuente between the lines

I bought one about 6 months ago at my local Strauss, a shorty for $13...was not worth the money IMHO...I have been disenchanted with Fuente within the last year...the hemmingways are tasty but all the Opus I have had need to age about 6 months in the humidor before reaching perfection. I hope this isn't blasphemy...just my observation.

Most of the opus stuff does need a little rest in my opinion, but 6 months doesn't do too much for them, or any smoke. I find 2 to 4 years is best.

6 months for an Opus to be smokeable. 5-10 years to start talking about perfection. Anywhere over 2 would be just fine with me.
