be advised.. most women DO NOT shoot snubbies well...

inexperienced female shooters will often gravitate toward them.. they are small (easy to fit in the purse, etc..).. light weight (petite woman doesnt want a brick weighing down the purse, etc.. and when they are handling them at the counter, they simply "feel" better in the hand due to the light weight, ease of holding them up to look down the sights, etc..etc..)... and the manufacturers do all sorts of stuff to make them more appealing to the eye (dress them up with pink grips, etc..etc..)...

but.. once they get to the range.. the majority of inexperienced shooters (and this is especially the case with women) get turned off by snubbies super quick...

they are LOUD.. they have substantially more recoil than small framed semis... the sights are difficult to hit with (so they dont see improvements in accuracy quickly), etc..etc.. for most it is not a "fun" experience.. and the gun just ends up getting thrown into a bed side table somewhere.. and never gets taken to the range or carried again...

snubbies make a decent BUG.. but IMO should not be carried as a primary CCW.. there simply are much better options these days...

factor in all of the above... and then consider that they are harder to conceal... there are less "accessory" options (holsters, speed feed pouches, aftermarket grips, etc..etc.) than for most popular CCW pistols (to include compacts and sub compacts).. less ammunition options.. etc..etc..etc.. and a snubbie as a primary makes no sense (IMO)..

Well said. I concur with all the above points.
