I've been watching eBay for one but haven't found one I like or is cheap enough. I love the deco look. I'd even take one without an ashtray (around 6-7") because the local antique shop has a nice amber one.

Anyone have an old crusty one laying around?

You actually want this freakin' thing?

Actually, I have no idea. Unfortunately, my guess is that shipping would be a killer because this thing is HEAVY.

How's $50.00 + shipping sound?

The history behind this is my mother bought this brand new for my father sometime in the late 1960s when he used to smoke. I remember her buying it (I was born in 1961). He quit smoking in 1973 and this thing has been kicking around our house ever since then and hasn't been used as an ashtray since 1973.

Nice, basic stand. Not too flashy. In good shape for being that old.

Hal, how much are you looking to spend, just in case I stumble across something?

I'll keep an eye out too Jim.

I have quite a few different ashtrays my Dad found at estate sales and the like.

Maybe he can find one for you.
