  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looks like it's turkey for dinner!

Went out this a.m. to the river bottom by my house to see if I could get on any birds. My good buddy Travis and I set up and I got a little Jake right at sunrise! Turkey dinner in a few days!!!

Now it's time for bed!

Nice shooting!

Someone please explain to me why, when I lived in PA and would go hunting, during turkey season I only saw deer, and during deer season I only saw turkey ... I still miss it a little, except for the getting up at/before sunrise part.

I'm guessing you woke up at around 4am for this… My uncle hunts ducks and always comes back at around 10 or 11am and crashes in bed with out getting washed. Nasty…

BTW, enjoy tha turkey!

Nice Tyler. Used to hunt them on my property in Michigan. What a blast. Did you call him in?

Hah, didn't go to bed last night! But I'll sleep really well tonight. And yeah Chuck, calls and a decoy.

Hell yeah Tyler you make me jealous!

Wild Turkey sure is different than farm raised.

I have got to get myself a .22-250 or something to go this fall. I have a 12gauge but my luck was never that great while my uncle with his rifle was always fortunate. Only thing is you can't use rifles in spring season here in PA.
