  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looks like it's turkey for dinner!

Wild Turkey sure is different than farm raised.

I have got to get myself a .22-250 or something to go this fall. I have a 12gauge but my luck was never that great while my uncle with his rifle was always fortunate. Only thing is you can't use rifles in spring season here in PA.

I used my trusty Mossberg 535 with 3.5" Hevi-shot #4. Dropped that turkey faster than gravity! Good up to 65 yards or so.

Love turkey hunting myself, although I've not gone once this season for various reasons. I'm saving myself for deer season I guess.
