I'm getting closer to a yes. Plans change and I won't be going out of town... I'll try my best to make it.
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Hop up to the 210 take that to the 134 Ventura Freeway which will take you right into the 101. Lots of shops along the way but the Big Easy is fun and close to the Sagebrush. Another 15 minutes beyond is Old Oak Cigars off Hampshire Road exit and the 101 on Thousand Oaks Blvd.. Big selection and very nice booze selection. Jeffy and I will be going there first.I haven't GPS'ed it yet, but I'll be coming from out in the Pomona area. This RV park is right by the fairgrounds.
Thanks for the warning I will wear some shades too cut down on the glare :ccool:FYI AND WARNING: I had lunch a block from the Sagebrush today. It was 111 degrees at 1PM in the afternoon. Hopefully it will cool down but I am wearing shorts and sandals.
Mmmmm toasty
Yes - I will be arriving on my burro.- :smokingmeMichael will be the third one from the left....
lmao!!!!!"i would hate for everyone to show up and i was in a kiddie pool covered in jello..."
um, i can't make it sunday.
I, uh...have to wash the cat and stuff.....
Sorry to hear that dude.Wish I could make it. I have been there a few times over the years and it's a good spot. Have fun gents!!
Love the heat out here! Thankfully, you guys don't have the humidity at least. I'm not saying that makes it a walk in the park, but it's a hell of a lot better than back home.Hop up to the 210 take that to the 134 Ventura Freeway which will take you right into the 101. Thanks for the info. I'll try to talk the boss into letting me swing in there on the way up. I have a fighting chance of pulling it off, but if not-I'll see you all at Sagebrush.
You are correct on that. We actually 'argued' yesterday on whether or not there was humidity in the air. She said yes, I said no. I guess there was more than usual out here-but it still isn't that sticky sweaty humidity you can get, where you step out the door and already feel drenched.Hate to burst your bubble, but we have been experiencing "monsoonal moisture" during this heat wave :/
Let me know what you like to smoke...In case you can't grab any sticks on the way up, I'll cover you with something from my humi.
Okay, well offer stands in case you cannot get to a shop before SagebrushYou are correct on that. We actually 'argued' yesterday on whether or not there was humidity in the air. Thanks for the offer, but I just wanted to hit a local shop and stock up some more. One of the reasons I love this traveling job, is being able to visit different shops all over the country, and herf with BOTL all over. I will be able to bring sticks to smoke, I just haven't been to a shop in CA yet!
