Macbook help

Ok, stupid question, but I hope someone can help.
I thought I was copying and moving all my files to a Shard folder on my Macbook. But, in actuality, I click and drug all the content to the Shared folder, and now that is where it resides.
Is there an easy way to put it all back where it came from? Or do I have to click and drag it all back and hope it organizes itself?

the easy way would have been to Edit > Undo when it happened, but I'm not sure if that is possible anymore... might need to do it manually. I freaking hate the All My Files view. It's useless to me.

I figured that was probably what I had to do, but just wanted to ask before beginning that task.
Yes, the All My Files view is not my favorite.

You can remove it from your sidebar and change finder from defaulting to it under Finder > preferences > general
