BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have a bargain basement mandolin that doesn't see a lot of action. However, I would feel bad about trading for even the lousiest of dog rockets. Been playing 12 string too long and my fingers don't like that tiny fretboard, I guess. To put it in perspective, I bought it new probably 10 years ago for about 35 bucks! I'm guessing shipping would cost more than the mandolin itself. If you ever venture up North though, you can have it

So funny story for you guys. Dave and I met up on Thursday for Winchester pipe club and I traded him and old peterson bulldog for 2 Hilliard pipes and a big Ben . Now y'all know i have been looking for a mandolin (the instrument) so I contacted a lady about a post she had on Craigslist for a brand new mandolin never played. She wanted full price for the mandolin. Now we all also know i have been cut off so I definitely couldn't pay cash for this mandolin so for shits and giggles I asked her if she would be interested in some tobacco pipes that I was a collector.. long story short I now have a brand new fender custom robert Schmidt mandolin and she has 2 Hilliard pipes and a big Ben... Who would have know that a little pipe trade would go so far... Next week I plan on Taking my ridicé to the dealership to get a new car.
