They are a little late with that article unless there is a new blend to it. I have seen this for the last couple of years in Havana. While it is not cheap there it is no where near the $5000 quoted in the article. Maybe $600ish in Havana And not worth that much by my experience. Was not one of the better martell products I have tried.

That's what I thought. I seem to remember a Habanos press release where they stated how they defend the Cohiba trademark "vigorously" and how proud they are of how they have been able to use it globally, including the cognac.

I agree as I had a taste of this in Grand Cayman...this isn't even good enough at $50 a bottle.
