BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just MY opinion, but the AR series isn't built for 308 that well. Some higher tier makers can pull it off (KAC), but the majority of them have mad issues.Awesome choice, brother!Really thinking about getting another one myself...in .308

You're right. The funny part is the Armalite Rifle was originally designed around the 7.62x51.
There are good 308 rifles out there, just don't expect to get one at the price of an AR-15.
I built a 7mm-08 on the DPMS platform (lower receiver is PSA). Only real tweak needed was adding an adjustable gas block. Works well.
