So after work I stopped in at my local B&M and was talking with Joel when I brought up my recent pipe bomb (Thanks again Utah!), when he points over and says do you know who that is? I am still new to pipes but he then explains that is Danish pipe maker Erik Nording. It was pretty cool to meet him, he is good friends with the owner Rich Castiano. I believe they just recently got back from the TAA convention in the Dominican Republic.
Told him how I just recently started my adventure into pipes and he told me to keep at it. Tried to get his take on laving the tobacco in the pipe like has been discussed in here and he said he never does that, but to each their own. Really nice guy and was really cool to meet someone that has been int he industry. I believe he also told me to put a stone (?) in the bottom of the bowl which could help with wet tobacco? Not really I heard him correct with his accent. None the less it was cool to meet him and they carry his tobacco, so I will have to give it a shot.
