One of my bosses has been nudging me to split a box of Cubans the next time I place an order but until recently funds have been tight so I've not bought anything new.
Now, after profit sharing and a bonus I'm in better financial shape so I'll be starting to re-stock.
He prefers milder cigars. I think that the QdO Coronas, one of my recent fav's, are pretty mild and will be giving him one or two of those as part of a Christmas gift tomorrow to see what he thinks of them.
Aside from the QdO, what smokes would you all recommend?

I consider the QdO's to be in the mild-medium range.
These would also be good beginners choices.

ERdM Choix Supreme
Fonseca #1
HdM Epi
Sancho Panza Non Plus

About 4 or 5 days ago there was a similiar thread where I listed probably 8 or 9 great buys for the novice or vet to enjoy. All were medium at most and info on when (age wise) to smoke them was provided for some. Just extend your viewable thread period to the last week or two and I'm sure you'll find it.

That was a very good list Craig.

I would say JL#1s and Epi #1s but my Dad found the Epicure to be a little 'heavy' for his tastes...he really likes JL Patricias.

Hrmm JL#1s are so good, full of flavor but not kick your ass strong. I think I am going to marry them I love them that much.

As Tedski mentioned ERDM CS, the other milder cigars that I've enjoyed were aged RyJ Beli's, EX #4's and SP Beli's.

I had a few boxes of Fonseca Cosacos that were very good for the price ($90 a box), a bit mild for me, I prefer a bit more spice but they had a good amount of flavor.

Thanks for the excellent suggestions. Along with the QdO I gave him a ErdM CS to try. I mentioned the JL#1's to him as well. I've been thinking of picking up a box of those anyway (if Todd hasn't cleaned out the vendors on them:grin:)
