In the market for a camera and although I'm not dead set on mirrorless, I do tend to prefer it over DSLR due to the size weight. Currently I'm looking at these models (i.e. they are in my price range)
  • Sony Alpha a6000
  • Panasonic G7
  • Canon EOS M3
  • Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II
  • Fujifilm X-T10
Wondering if any of you photo buffs could provide me with a recommendation.

I ended up going with the A6000 and love it. Still learning to use it though LOL
Nice! The best way to learn how to use the camera is to take it off Auto, don't use the scene selections, put it on manual (I'll give a pass for Aperture mode) and go out and shoot. Change settings and shoot some more. Learn about things like Rule of Thirds and other photo composition tricks. Learn how changing a setting affects how the picture looks. Eventually, it'll become second nature.
