  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So i went to look at the bay and as I just happen to look up a pipe the very first one was set to end in 1 min... Nice reamed out, nice looking pipe and only .99 and no bids LOL. I then go to put in my bid when I notice I am not signed on and by the time I get logged in it ended and someone other then me got the pipe for .99 WOW really. That is just my luck....:argh: Never got a Pipe that cheap before lol....

It was a Kaywoodie part Rust. Nice looking pipe I think I am going to start adding to the couple of Kaywoodie pipes I have.... IF the price is right or it calls my name. Won't buy just to buy lol....

I picked up an AWESOME amphora rhodesian for $9 on fleabay several months back.. looked almost brand new.. my guess is it had been smoked 3-4 times tops and then never used again.. no bite marks on the stem at all.. no scorching on the rim.. very little cake build up (almost non existent).. etc..etc..

Ive given up on buying new pipes when there are so many good deals on estate pipes out there...

+1. I've never owned a "new" pipe with the exception of a cob.

I've owned one new pipe but everything else has been an estate. My issue is that the new pipes I want are all artisan made and cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars. So, yeah, won't own any of those unless I win the lottery
