I apologize for my sudden absence over the past few days. I received some packages in trades, a purchase and an unexpected bomb from some brothers on this board and I promise, I will post my appreciation later in the week. You'll see why in a moment.
So, as some of you know, my son is part of a Marine Expedition Unit (MEU) and was in Afghanistan.
Well...on Thursday evening he surprised us and showed up at home. I praise God for his safe return (albiet short, he goes back out in October for a 7-month deployment).
Anyway, we laughed, we cried, we smoked good cigars. We worshipped and now we are off to eat dinner and to smoke more cigars.
See you all next week when he leaves for 29 Palms!
