Do you like the NCAA basketball tournament? Do you enjoy watching the top 64 college basketball teams get widdled down to the final 4, the top 2, and then the National Champ? Well, so do we. To celebrate March Madness, we'll be holding our own version of the tourney with a MARCH MADNESS SMOKE-OFF!
Come sign up for this event. The cost is $100 and the tourney starts now and runs through March 26 when we throw a reveal party for all the players---you guys. You'll be getting 14 cigars to smoke during the tourney. All of these cigars are high-end premium cigars (total retail cost for these smokes is around $120). Here's how the tourney works.
Come in anytime between now and March 10 to pay your $100 and get your first 8 cigars. We'll be doing a blind tasting of 8 premium cigars. We've put our own cigar bands on the cigars (e.g., Stanford v. Memphis, North Carolina v. Tennessee, etc.) and then matched them up in a head to head competition. You determine which cigars advance to the next round. We'll be tracking all of this on a large tourney board at the shop. You've got until Saturday, March 15 to smoke your first 8 cigars and give us your picks. You can drop in, call, or e-mail your picks to us.
Round 2: Starting Sunday, March 16, come pick up the Final Four cigars. Smoke 'em and let us know your top 2 by Friday, March 21.
Round 3: Starting Saturday, March 22, come pick up the TOP 2 cigars. Smoke 'em and come to the Shop where we will reveal the identity of all the competing cigars and the TOP CIGAR as selected by you, the players.
Don't miss the REVEAL PARTY on Wednesday, March 26 from 6 to 8. All participants will receive a chance to spin the lucky wheel to be put into the raffle for an S.T. Dupont Lighter---the finest lighter made in the world with a retail value of $495. All participants will receive a prize at the party. Unlike the NCAA, there are no losers at Mission Pipe. (ha ha.) So, come sign up for our March Madness Smoke-Off.
Other Events: Join us this Sat night. We're going to have the UFC fight on the 120" screen in the front and the flat screen in the lounge. Should be a good match up to watch. Hope to see you.
