That sucks you can't make it, but that is a cool show. We took our son to it in Baton Rouge last year. I wish they had something like that when I was a chap. It blew those kids' minds!

I got the registration info in the mail and here is the first hurdle or headache or whatever you want to call it. Apparently the website has the wrong number listed for Turkey Creek cabin rental. I went back and checked my phone against the website so I know I dialed the correct number listed. Anyway, long story short is the reservations were made at Flint Creek in Wiggins, MS. I tried calling, but they are only open M - F. So I need to hear input from you guys. Go look at the site and see if you want to stay there, because now we are reserved there and I dont know at this time if a cabin is available at Turkey Creek. Ugh!!!!!!

On a positive note, I have stayed there before and it is very nice. Total for this cabin tax and all for the weekend is $167.78. So we can divide that evenly. Total is due Apr 23rd.

Turkey Creek is a lot closer to me. The one in Wiggins would put me getting there at 9 or 10pm that friday. So, which one we going with?

I am going to call tomorrow and see if we can swap to Turkey Creek. But given that each location only has 3 cabins, we may be stuck. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up and keep everyone in the loop. I think turkey creek is more secluded and a better match for a herf myself.

OK, Got it changed. All three cabins were available at Turkey Creek. They are a little more money though, total is 190.68. Is anyone else coming??? Someone may need to reserve another cabin.

We have 5 people committed to going so far. That puts one on an air mattress and one on the couch. I just want everyone to be comfortable and I also want to include everyone that wants to attend :thumbsup:

We need to start thinking about food too. I figure we can do a BBQ. I will bring some sausage and deer meat. Also thought if we are gonna o some fishing, we could have a fish fry and I could bring my cooker. Yall chime in and lets talk all this over...
