Every time you open the lid, a little moisture and air gets in. If there are mold spores in the air, they follow. Bummer Rob.

Sorry to hear about the luck Rob. An unfortunate risk in this hobby, as we all know. I hope you get that situation under control bro! Perfect storage conditions are hard to come by without major bucks, so I feel your pain in trying to keep things as optimal as possible.
