  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Well, I was expecting a boring game and so far I was right. Still, 132" of high-def is nice to watch. The ESPN cameras up high look like crap though.

To add even more, it's pretty sad when Charles Barkley can't get a word in because the others won't shut up long enough for him to answer...even when the question is directed towards Charles!!!

I would rather listen to Madden babble for a couple hours than this crap.

Madden gets on my nerves, has for years. He may know football but he needs to speak a lot less.

Tony isn't all that great.. Charles I like, he can be pretty good at times.

I really like Tony on PTI, not so much on MNF. I think they were hoping Tony will be the next Cosell. I'd take them both over Madden.

What happened to Dennis Miller?

Miller was a little nuts, was not funny like he should have been, and talked over peoples heads too much. I believe they added Tony to be witty and try to reach the non football crowds.

Far as Tony, this week he was tag teamed by the pro Eagle bias Jaws and Tirico.

That's right. Michaels used to be at ABC but joined Madden for SNF a couple of years ago. Madden annoys me on occasion, but they're a much more professional team than those dolts at ESPN.

The NFL Channel has pretty good commentators, too.

I always liked Madden. He knows football, but is a total moron if he has to speak oabout anything else. Makes for some "Don King" words and is always good for a "HUH?"
