  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Without a doubt you've got to check out Bloom's Cigar Shop at 54 S. 12th St. in Pittsburgh. It's about a 20 min. drive straight down 376, maybe a little less. Easily the biggest and most well stocked shop I've ever been in. they've got EVERTHING!!!! The walk-in has to be at least 30 ft. x 150 ft. Its the real deal.

For some reason the website isn't working.

There's also Station Square, which is about 5 minutes further than Blooms. There's a place called Puffs-n-Stuff inside. They've always had a decent selection and plus, Station Square is pretty neat in general.

Oh, and inside station square is a nice chinese joint. Sesame Inn. I hit it up everytime I go to the 'Burgh.

THere's also the Strip District. Leaf and Bean is down there. Not a bad little shop, but focuses more on the coffee than the leaf.

A pretty cool area that's maybe 10-15 minutes door-to-door of Monroeville. Lots of nice restaurants and nightlife along with some great shops and probably the best place to get seafood this side of the Atlantic. It's brought in fresh daily. There are huge piles of ice outback to prove it. Wholey's Fish Market.

Andy's Sushi right inside the front door is awesome too. Everything is made to order, which equals super fresh sushi. He hooks me up with giant chunks of sushi grade tuna when I ask him for it...like 2lb chunks for $25 cash. Get the Spider Roll...they fry the soft-shell crab right there in the kitchen, so you know it's fresh too.

THen be sure to stop at Blooms and take plenty of cash. It's like shopping at an online retailer only you can see everything they offer.
