Just had my first one and WOW. All the spicy goodness of a typical Monte. Just a great smoke all the way to the nub! I will be buying more of these for sure.

You are premature in buying them if you have only smoked ONE............
smoke three or five..........then make the decision................

You're correct Nacho. Had my second yesterday and am no less enthusiastic, but will probably get at least another 3 pack before I splurge for a whole box

Had a DE yesterday. It was terrific. Monte's really start to shine after 1.5 yrs+ I had a fresh Petite Edmundo and was less enthusiastic. Gotta give them the time they need.

Try another before you buy. I've given the OR more than it's fair amount of chances. Some people like them. For me possibly the worst cigar I've smoked in years.

Yes I would say it had all the good things I like in a Monte, particularly the trademark spicyness. If you're not into that then YMMV
