So, I finally ditched my Diamond Crown humidifiers as the RH in all my humi's were at 74-76% even with the vents closed....
I got the 65% beads and began the process of playing 250,000 pickup. I quickly learned that once the beads are wet, they do not easily detach themselves from a glass bowl in order to be placed into the mesh bag. I got a lot on the carpet where even the Dyson had trouble getting them all up.
Once the initial mess was clean, although there are still beads in the carpet, I was impressed how well they worked.
Today while checking on the beads, I noticed a small speck of something in them. So, I decided to simply pick up the dish to investigate. Unfortunately, something snagged upon lifting the dish and the beads went all over my humi and cigars.
Picking them up was not the most fun I have had in a while :hammersma
On a related note, will having a little cigar debris cause any issue or do I need to order another lb of beads?
