Congrats on the new change
Cana, eh? At one time we where looking around Fancy Gap, but ended up buying a place in Beulah, NC, a few miles west of Mt. Airy. I'm renovating the NJ house, getting it ready for market, but once that is done, we'll be practically neighbors.Loved living in NC, but I was in the NW. Had the opportunity to shop that JR once. Wouldn't mind getting out there again. Congratulations and good luck.
My mom graduated from Beulah High School. I don't recall if the building is still there. Used to go to Raven's Knob Boy Scout Camp regularly. I work for a company in Winston-Salem. We have a customer in Greensboro about 15 minutes from JR. I keep hoping when the guy who works that area is out, I can steal a call out there at lunch. I lived my first 21 years in Mt. Airy. Was working at the McD on 52 after school when I met a girl with big brown eyes. She lived in Cana. I've been in Cana over twenty-eight years now. Neighbors indeed. We'll have to get together after you get settled.Cana, eh? At one time we where looking around Fancy Gap, but ended up buying a place in Beulah, NC, a few miles west of Mt. Airy. Cool beans. Though born and raised in Jersey, I always felt in the minority, like I didn't belong. About 6 years ago, my oldest daughter, her husband and our grand young'ns, moved to Boonville. She needed help renovating the place, so I put my RV in a campground in Boonville. It didn't move for 5 years. My wife and I where down at least once a month, so we got to know the area pretty well. We made a lot of friends. Then it hit me. These folk think like I think. They have the same values I have. Why the h*ll am I living in Jersey? Found a place on a dead end country road, and once I'm out, I have no desire to ever return to the north. My mom graduated from Beulah High School. I don't recall if the building is still there.
