I've actually lived in both RI (dad was in the Navy and a prof at URI) and College Station (got undergrad and DVM at A&M). Boy are you in for a "Wicked Kulcha shock". Hope you like country music. I actually loved it there and If I could have stayed I would have.

Thats good. I actually got my MS at URI and I love it here. I love country and I'm actually from the San Joaquin valley in California which is pretty Ag. So it was a nice fit. To be honest I felt that TAMU was a little too big for my taste which is why I choose to live in Bryan, Tx instead.
