Hey guys, just thought I would let you know why I haven't been as active, and share with you what kind of smokes I have had in the meantime.
So, I was getting ready to go out for halloween, (I was a leprechaun by the way) and I had to print out a shamrock so that my friend could draw one on my shoulder. As I was carrying my laptop over to my "wireless" printer, I dropped it. (I'm such a dumba**) So the computer works, but I had to wait until my mother could send me up my monitor from home. I plan on getting it fixed over Thanksgiving break, so I don't have to deal with dell while in college.
I've also had three test within the last two days, which has taken much of my time as well. Oh and a fun study trick I learned. Go outside with only your notes and a cigar, and you'll study through the entire smoke! No distractions in the dorm room.
Ok, now to the sticks
I bought an Oliva Serie G BP churchill I believe it was for just about 6 bucks at my B&M. Definitely great value, and yet another great stick from Oliva! I'll pick up another one sooner or later to share a full review with you guys, but have ZERO space in my humidor.
A couple days later, I had a Conuco Six Sixty that was sent to me by none other then Shuckins. It was a DELICIOUS stick, great draw and construction. Perfect choice to keep me outside studying for a good hour and a half!
Next I smoked a Chateu Real from Liteumup. This is one of my new favorites! Nice and smooth, with a creamy earthiness on the finish. A great stick on a beautiful fall day by the pond. I definitely have to track others down in the future! It's on my "Pick up when I actually have room" list!
Yesterday, my buddy and I took a walk to the local shopping plaza, and smoked cigars during the walk. He broke out a RP TAA series, and I had my first Tat, courtesy of Shuckins. It was the best cigar I have ever smoked. Hands down. I'm not sure the dimensions of it or anything, I'd estimate about 5 inches, and maybe a 46-48 RG. It was full of spice in the beginning, and lots of nuttiness too. A touch of bourbon came through at the end as it began to mellow out. Definitely made me a bit dizzy too! Within the next month or two, I would love to contact a brother and see if I can get a fiver of tats, as my local B&M here in Albany doesn't carry em...
Smoked it to the nub it was so good!
After that tat, I sparked up a 601 BP maduro blue that I just got from a Cigarmonster order. Definitely not at the same level as the Tat I had just finished, but definitely a nice stick nevertheless.
Well I'm glad to catch up with you guys, even if that means just typing what my last week or so was like to let you know.
Now that I have a computer, I'll be back up for reviews and be much more active at my home away from home.
Last but definitely not least, I got a surprise bomb from Terrantheman. This is much appreciated sir! Be sure to keep your eyes out for reviews on these delicious looking babies. Also, looking forward to that tat, it'll be my second one overall. Terran also threw in a couple things of soup to keep me warm up at Albany. Much appreciated brother!
Nice to talk to you guys again!
